About

If we take it back to 2012, we will find a young Brett Conti, in his small dorm room at Manhattan College. This is where he would spend hours on end sewing each and every Fortune product. Originally, Fortune started off with simple products such as beanies, 5 panels, and pocket tees, all sewn by Brett. With deep roots in textiles, Fortune will always emphasize and continue to grow its cut & sew collections all while expanding its line of tees and graphic shirts.
As a brand from the most creative city in the world, we strive to never hinder that very process of creation. Whether it be skateboarding, photography, sewing, woodwork, or painting, Fortune stands for anything that was once just an idea and promotes the pursuit of materialization. For a year Fortune was only just a thought, a creative urge. It wasn't until after careful planning and execution that it was born into this world as the brand you see today. Just two years after our birth, we're proud to be included in over 40 stores throughout 8 different countries.
With the continued success and growth of the past few years, we will never forget where we came from and what motivated us to get here. In our first official year, a percentage of annual proceeds went to Toys for Tots. Over one week in February, Fortune also raised $2,000 to help the homeless in NYC's brutal winter of 2015. For us, helping the less fortunate gives us a chance to give back to the community that gave us so much.
Like any true creative endeavor, Fortune is never quite satisfied and we always want a bit more. There are no limits to this and we'll continue to grow as a brand and as an entity.
